This summer I was talking to a pastor in our area and he make a statement that came true today. He said any idiot can have a blog and today this idiot got one.
Last night was a rough night. Grayson, my son, decided me didn't want to sleep which meant mom and dad didn't get much sleep either. As I sat here thinking about how tired I am and how rough last night was I realized something. Last week my son, and daughter, turned 9 months old. When my son was born we had many sleepless nights, many of them spent on hospital floors in ICU's wondering if he was going to get better and he has. He has gone from 2 pounds 6 ounces to know close to 20 pounds. When I think about that I realize how much I love rough nights like last night. These times when I get to lay there and watch him sleep. These are times when I get to talk to Jesus and thank him for the beautiful gift that he has given me. I never knew what it was going to be like to be a dad and each day I learn something new. However, if you were to ask me what is the big lesson you have learned in becoming a dad, it would have to be that I see now more so than ever how much my heavenly Father loves me. I would do anything for my son and He gave his son for me. Thanks for listening may God show you today how passionately He loves you too.

Thanks for sharing Beau. Love the picture of the kids in the pumpkin patch.
Its those sleepless nights with kids and loved ones that makes us stop and focus on what really is important in life we get so busy we forget or get off track.
We also Had a baby with health issues and was sick for a very long time. It was amazing to see how God not only taught us many things through her life but also all those who were a part of it too. We saw life through an angels eyes.
All of you are loved. Enjoy all the moments with the babies...they grow up so fast. I know both of my little ones did.
